David Arnoldo Simón

February 21, 1959 - May 16, 2026

It is with great sadness that we must say a heartbreaking goodbye to our bandleader, musical brother, and dear friend, David Simón.

It has been our joy and honor to be a part of David's musical vision and expression over these many years. 

David's music brought love, joy, and romance to so many people all over the world.  

And for many, he brought great comfort--the feeling of home. 

Thank you, dearest David, for the joy of music.  For the romance.  For creating family and community everywhere you went.  For creating profound beauty to all of your art forms.  For nurturing, feeding, and caring for so many--no matter what the need.  For honoring and respecting all of the history and cultures of the world.  And for your dedication and wisdom. 

At this extremely difficult time, please honor David's family's wishes, expressed here.
